You should consider asking the guys that made NVSE as I am 100% ceratin that either you have NVSE installed wrong. Some thing is not correct on your end to say the least. of 2 - Fallout New Vegas: installing NVSE creates two 'mods', NVSE not deployed - posted in Vortex Support: Fallout New Vegas, Windows 7 64-bit, Vortex 1.2.17. The key dll is the nvse_steam_loader.dll verify that you have that one inside your base FONV folder then launch via NVSE.exe let it get to the main menu and press your Steam overlay button sometimes it does take a second or two to respond see if the overlay opens if it does you are getting credit for your time played.By base folder I mean base not the data files folder. You do realize that NVSE in fact launches via Steam but you do not see the typical Steam launching icon nor the FONV launch menu right?Have you actually started a game via NVSE and let load up and then tried to open Steams overlay? Well something is wrong with how you have NVSE installed. Be happy that you did not go though a bunch of unessary hoops Play game and get credit just as you normally do I just use NVSE.exe myself and NMM for modding.

Nvse_steam_loader.dll even allows you to launch right from Steam if you desrie to. If you have all the correct files installed NVSE will be seen by Steam just fine if it does not work you either installed it incorrectly or you have a pirated copy of the game most likely you have not installed it correctly. Why you would want to add NVSE as a non Steam game makes no sense either.įrom Nexus: post number 4 should be read a few times and the last post as well. I have been launching FONV via just NVSE for some time well over a year and it has always counted my game time and overlay works just fine as Uncle Joe said I also have no idea what you are trying to accomplish here Steam overlay works just fine when launched via the NVSE.exe everything works as it should credit is given for achivments.
